Last night Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou President of the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation played host to over fifty current and former students of the Bayes Business School, City, University of London in a hybrid Zoom event.

Students heard presentations from Sir Stelios, the Dean Professor Andre Spicer and the Scholarship programme lead Dr Nikos Papapostolou.

We also heard from two alumni Scholars and the new cohort who all expressed their thanks to Sir Stelios and the Foundation for the scholarships they had received, allowing them to study at the prestigious London University.
Many said they would not have otherwise been able to take up their place without assistance.

Recent graduates from Bayes Business School have since gone on to occupy senior positions in banking, finance, accounting, shipping and consultancy.

We were delighted to hear from Alumni Stelios Scholars Gloria Setordjie and Ozkan Koyun who talked about what the Stelios Scholarship has meant to them and both emphasised the importance of future graduates giving back
in their own way as recognition of the help they had received.
