Last night on Monday 13 July 2026, the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation played host to the Haringey Shed at their London HQ, 34 Thurloe Square.
The event marked the theatre and performing arts group’s 25th anniversary, with the 25 guests present reflecting on its achievements in helping to develop the dynamism and commitment to the performing arts in one of London’s most challenging boroughs.
CEO Rachel Rand reminded guests of Haringey Shed’s repertoire of inclusive theatre techniques and its ‘no auditions’ policy, which strives to create an inclusive and supportive environment in which every young person has a part to play and is valued and respected.
Responding on behalf of the Foundation, trustee Alan Marsh reminded guests of the importance of entrepreneurship in helping to lay the groundwork for “giving back to society”.
As part of our ongoing support for the charitable sector, Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou and the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation host events for charities at their London HQ. Organisations interested in using the venue are invited to get in touch.
