Yesterday, Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou hosted a lunch at the Stelios Foundation Conference Hall Monaco in support of The King’s Trust, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
Over the past five decades, The King’s Trust has supported more than 1.3 million young people across the UK, helping them continue their education, secure employment, and build successful businesses.
As an Enterprise Fellow of the Trust for more than 10 years, Sir Stelios has proudly supported its enterprise programme and was pleased to bring together new and longstanding friends of the Trust for this special occasion.
Guests heard inspiring contributions from Tom Ilube CBE, Chair of the Trustees, and Nick Wheeler OBE, Chair of the Enterprise Fellows. We were also privileged to hear the remarkable story of Duane Jackson, whose life was transformed through the Trust’s enterprise programme and who now serves as an alumnus of the programme and a patron of the trust.
As a token of appreciation for Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou’s longstanding commitment and support, he was presented with a special 50th Anniversary Yearbook, commemorating the extraordinary impact the Trust has made over the past five decades.
It was a wonderful afternoon celebrating the impact of The King’s Trust and the opportunities it continues to create for young people across the UK.
