An incredible £255,000 has been raised so far since this weekend’s Stelios Scholars 20 year reunion in Monaco.
Thank you to all the scholars for their donations which have been matched by the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation raising £255,000 in total and enabling a further 10 UK scholarships, commencing Autumn 2025.
The Foundation encouraged past LSE Stelios Scholars to contribute any amount within their means in order to establish additional scholarships for the future. This way we are encouraging people who benefitted in the past from a Stelios Scholarship to start or increase their own giving back to society.
Sir Stelios and Professor Larry Kramer, LSE President and Vice Chancellor, gave speeches to over 60 LSE Stelios Scholars on Saturday 2nd November 2024. And we heard inspiring stories from scholars both past and present.
